Pause for safety

Environmental Health and Safety is asking the WSU community to pause for two important safety related tasks:

  1. Please take a few minutes to complete a short safety survey with questions about workplace safety that are relevant for each of us.  Each year a safety survey is administered by the Office of Risk Management, a division of the Department of Enterprise Services, together with the State Agency Safety Professionals Alliance (SASPA).  The 2018 Safety Survey will be open for all state employees through February 23, 2018. The survey is intended to enhance our culture of worker safety.  Survey information will help Washington State University and Safety Committee members evaluate safety programs, identify gaps, and plan safety initiatives to enhance employee workplace safety. To complete the 2018 Safety Survey, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2018_SafetySurvey.
  2. If you have not already registered to receive WSU Alert emergency notifications, please do so now. Visit myWSU to complete your registration. If your contact information has changed, please ensure that you have made changes in myWSU under the Emergency Contact link.

For supplemental information and assistance in answering survey questions please visit the Environmental Health and Safety website at https://ehs.wsu.edu/safetysurvey.html
