Announcements service moves to WSU Insider

The WSU Announcements will become a part of the WSU Insider beginning Monday, Jan. 22.

They aren’t going away, but now they will be available on WSU Insider.

The types of information previously distributed through the Announcements service will continue to be available through a dedicated tab on the Insider homepage.

You can access the “Announcements” tab in the navigation bar along the left margin. Some items will be featured on the homepage as well.

The Insider, which updates throughout the day, also has an optional daily email that provides highlights of featured articles and links to other types of information.

Beginning this Monday, the Insider email notice will replace the Announcements email newsletter.

The process for submitting announcements remains unchanged. The same self-service form that was used for uploading notices to Announcements will now upload them to the dedicated page on Insider instead.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
