Open Enrollment Presentation – Learn about CDHPs and Health Savings Accounts – TODAY

The annual Open Enrollment period for 2018 begins November 1 and will run through November 30. This is the one time each year when faculty and staff can make changes to the benefits enrollment.

HRS will be holding informational sessions/presentations providing a brief overview of Open Enrollment and changes for 2018.  During these presentations we will also present “Why Choose A Consumer Directed Health Plan with a Health Savings Account?”   If the lower premium of a CDHP is attractive to you, but you are concerned about a higher deductible, this session will help you understand how a Health Savings Account, which is partially funded by WSU, may help you address that concern.  You may discover that a CDHP/HSA is a good approach to your health care both now and in the long term.

Sessions are scheduled for the following times:

  • November 2, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Lighty 405 & Via AMS
  • November 8, 11:15 a.m. – noon, CUB Jr. Ballroom – Pullman Only
  • November 13, 3 – 4 p.m., Lighty 405 & Via AMS

Seating will be on a first come, first served basis. For non-Pullman sites, some sessions are available via AMS Videoconferencing Services. To view which locations are currently registered, visit the AMS Events Calendar. Additional site connections may be requested through AMS.Videoconference.Meeting@wsu.edu.

Questions can be directed to the HRS Benefits staff at 509-335-4521 or hrs@wsu.edu

Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
