President Schulz to deliver State of the University address March 27

The WSU community statewide is invited to attend President Kirk Schulz’s annual State of the University address, Tuesday, March 27 at 3:10 p.m. in Bryan Hall auditorium. Those planning to attend in person are asked to register in advance.

Titled “Celebrating Success, Aspiring to New Heights,” President Schulz will highlight examples of WSU’s notable progress during the past 12 months and point out how those successes set the stage for the University to become one of the nation’s top 25 public research universities in the coming years.

A Greg Yasinitsky quartet will perform beginning at 2:45 p.m. A reception in the Bryan Hall foyer featuring individuals who have been involved in some of the University’s recent top accomplishments follows the address.

The event will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Rooms are reserved for group viewing at WSU Spokane (SAC 20), WSU Tri-Cities (East Auditorium), WSU Everett (Room 101), WSU Vancouver (VECS 105), and the WSU Downtown Seattle office (Conference Room1).

The State of the University address is one of the kickoff events to WSU’s annual Showcase activities that celebrate the excellence of University faculty, staff, and students.
