Women’s Basketball to host Junior Sportswriter Day

Junior Sportswriter Day is Sunday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. and is a chance for kids to be a member of the media for a day at a women’s basketball game.  Kids who participate will get these privileges:

Kids 12 and under receive free admission with paid parent ($2).

Media credential with their name and their chosen (fictitious) news agency.

Special seating for the game with other honorary media members.

Early access to the coliseum through special entrance.

Special access to the team and coaches at a kids only post-game press conference streamed live on the web.

Kids get to submit an article about the game to WSU’s Athletic Communications Department for potential publication on WSUCougars.com
