Visitors can engage with three new exhibitions and several programs that celebrate art in its various forms from March 26 to June 29.

Dozens of WSU student clubs helped organize this year’s event on March 30 which features more than 30 science-and engineering-related activities for children.

President Kirk Schulz will highlight a range of topics, including how WSU is adapting to an evolving landscape while remaining committed to its mission and people.

The annual competition takes place at 1 p.m. on March 27 in Pullman and online. Prizes in the form of travel awards for research conferences are awarded to the top three finishers.

WSU helped organized and is sponsoring the screening of a documentary film series this Saturday about the perseverance of Ukrainian women since the 2022 Russian invasion.

The history of fly fishing is the subject of a WSU Libraries’ lecture at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in the Terrell Library atrium. The lecture will also be livestreamed.

Tickets are on sale for Heritage of Words, a special reading party that’s part of the Women*s Center’s 50th anniversary. The event is scheduled from 5–8 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, on the Pullman campus.

Mike Maslanka solves diet-related riddles for exotic and threatened species. He will reflect on some of his career highlights during the Halver Lecture in Comparative Nutrition, 5 p.m. Feb. 27 in Pullman.

The WSU system will have a chance to hear from TRIO alums about how the program helped change their lives during National TRIO Day Celebration Feb. 20–22.

The center is hosting a virtual lunchtime seminar series this spring to enable its seed grant recipients to share how they are addressing some of the state’s water-related challenges.
