Yuehe Lin named to National Academy of Inventors

Lin is one of 168 NAI Fellows for 2019, which is the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors. The program includes more than 1,000 fellows from 250 universities around the world that hold more than 41,500 U.S. patents.

Cannabis reduces headache and migraine pain by nearly half

Inhaled cannabis reduces self-reported headache severity by 47.3% and migraine severity by 49.6%, according to a recent study led by Carrie Cuttler, a WSU assistant professor of psychology. The study also found no evidence that cannabis caused “overuse headache,” a pitfall of more conventional treatments.
